All we did today was sit in a conference room and listen to Daryl Young read out power point presentations, and then take tests after every single one. Safe to say, that was THE longest 8 hours, but that's okay because I got paid good money to sit there and do nothing. The tests are pretty easy as long as you pay attention, and most if the stuff is just common sense. I have a feeling that this job is going to be alright (:
I received my PPE today, which is Personal Protection Equipment. What that is, is two different pairs of safety goggles, two pairs of gloves, a nomad coverall suit, and my hard hat. I was actually excited about all of this. I feel more and more like part of the crew after receiving all of my stuff! I am so lame because this is stuff that makes me happy here..
But anywho, am I boring you? I really hope not! Not too much more, just bare with me people!
The work day today went by really slow, but it was a very easy day and I got paid, so I can't complain too much, right? Once u fit back to the hotel, I ate a small meal with my dad, and I fell right to sleep.. Zzz
Once I woke up around 8, I called my mom and brother, had a small chat with both of them, and now here we are (: Not too shabby to be my first few days, what do you think?! I hope my blog isn't too boring right now, it will get better I PROMISE! I have to work at 5:30 in the morning... I should probably attempt to sleep now.
