I'm a few days late but starting now in going to do a day by day of my time spent in New Jersey.
Let me start by saying, I am here to work for a construction company called Fluor. My dad got me on and I am very thankful.
Okay, here we go. The drive was pretty long and boring, and I slept through most of the good sights and I didn't really have a chance to get pictures. I'm here until September 30, or at least that's how king the job lasts... No telling when I'll go home.
It's a nice change here, no one knows me, though when they look at me I know that they are judging me because of the way I talk, look and especially my tattoos and piercings. I have that they will make assumptions because of how I look and not because of who I am as a person. But things like that never change, so I'll have to get used to it.
Alright, so I'm staying in this small tiny dink hotel in DeepWater, New Jersey. It's just across the Delaware Memorial Bridge. It's pretty plain and there's nothing to do here outside of work. We have all if 23 television channels, and NO WIFI, which I hate.
This is pretty much just my short introduction about the ride up and that first night here. The photos are of the New Jersey sign obviously, and of the Delaware Memorial Bridge (:
